It's the latest edition of the popular turn-yourself-into-a-virtual-rock star video game that started the whole turn-yourself-into-a-virtual-rock star genre.
What's new about "World Tour," like "Guitar Hero's" biggest rival now, "Rock Band," you can play not just guitar, but also drums, bass, and lead singer.
Though, with artists ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Van Halen, the guitar is still the centerpiece, and even that has a new twist; the neck is now touch sensitive so you can add slides and taps.
The actual game also has a pile of new features and modes, including one for creating your own tracks. You can also play online with band mates worldwide and there's even a battle of the bands mode where up to a full band of four people can compete against another foursome anywhere in the world.
"Guitar Hero: World Tour" is available for the XBox360, Playstation 2 and 3, and the Wii. While the price will vary depending on which console you're buying it for, it'll cost anywhere from $50 for just the game up to around $270 for the full band kit. The game is rated T for Teen.
